Solar SP C-Tech Traveller Power Barrow

The Solar SP C-Tech Traveller Power Barrow is the compact electric barrow: 150W of hub motor, a 110kg load rating and a frame that packs down small enough to go in a normal car boot. It is aimed squarely at anglers who move between venues rather than fishing one lake all season.

Size and fit

Main frame L88cm x W55.5cm, 17.9kg, 110kg maximum load. Measure your boot before you order: 88cm is compact for a power barrow but it is still a barrow, and the packdown is what you are paying for over the full-size model. The SP C-Tech camo Drop-Loc bag sits under the frame with integrated side access, so you can reach kit without unstrapping the load.

Traveller or full-size?

The Solar SP C-Tech Traveller Power Barrow is the right call for shorter walks, mixed venues and smaller cars. If you fish long, steep or soft banks and want the extra grunt, the SP C-Tech Power Barrow doubles the motor to 300W and adds 360° rear wheels, an adjustable-width frame and a front shelf.
