MCF The Rattler Indicators
Pull your mainline into the lower fixed clip to fish the rattler like an Elstom-style indicator. Bite registration is excellent, and you are not affected by the wind like you would be with a chain. On the take, the body of the rattler will climb the arm and will continue running through the ball clip like a regular bobbin. This means you get proper bite indication rather than the bobbin simply dropping off the line.
On a drop back, the arm will fall towards you, and the body will slide down the arm to further highlight what is happening.
