A proper wafter should sit balanced on the bottom and lift readily into a feeding fish's mouth – and that's exactly what Sonubaits Band'um Wafters are designed to do. Their buoyancy sits between a bottom bait and a pop-up, so the weight of the hook critically balances the bait and it wafts up the instant a fish moves in, putting more fish on the bank.
In the moreish Salted Caramel flavour and a hookable 6mm size, they're ideal banded or hair-rigged over a bed of feed. A quick tip: always check a wafter balances in a tub of water before you cast – if it sinks under the hook's weight, it isn't wafting as it should.
