When it comes to casting extreme distances or boating a rig out even further the Whisker 45 SCW QD OT begins to come into its own.
Our first reel to feature the QDM drag system, letting you adjust the drag from open to closed via 3/4 of one turn. The more common QD only requires a 1/4 turn.
The LC Long Cast 45mm spool combined with Slow Cross Wrap line lay, applies minimal friction during line release, enabling extreme casting distances.

The Whisker is fitted with a 'C' spool (300m - 0.35mm) and comes supplied with two spare spools; 'LD' (530m- 0.35) and an 'SLD' (700m–0.35mm for large waters).
