Fortis felt the trousers would benefit from some side access pocket zips so you could access your valuables in the trousers you wear underneath, so they have added two YKK® AquaGuard® Vislon® side access zips on the hips. They have now removed the smaller back pocket on the rear.
They have removed the storm flap which protected the old knee length zip and instead upgraded the current zip to the same YKK® AquaGuard® Vislon® zip which feature on the jacket for a cleaner, watertight aesthetic.
The trousers now feature a slight taper from the knee instead of a straight leg which can still be worn over wellington boots comfortably but also over regular walking boots or trainers without being too baggy. They can be adjusted even more using the poppers on the hem. The trousers also feature an improved elasticated waist toggle for extra comfort and ease.
A classic tapered fit means you can layer up accordingly throughout the seasons without restriction.
The knee-length zips with press stud ankle adjustments are comfortable with all footwear, no matter what the season. Side access zips mean you can reach through to your valuables in your other layers.
